Overall I was very happy with my final magazine however I do feel certain areas could be done better next time.  In my personal opinion I was very happy with my photography as I feel it met the standards I set and would be effective in drawing in my target audience of music lovers.  However I was not as happy with the layout of the articles down the side and I do not feel that they are striking enough to catch the audience’s attention and persuade them to read on.  In my actual piece I think I will use more vibrant bright colours to attract the audience in to read on. In my original plan I wished to use reds and blues however when creating the front cover these colours did not fit in well and took over the main image too much. So I decided to use softer colours which aren’t as eye catching but I feel work well in not overpowering the main image.

Throughout the task I came across many difficulties, although I feel very confident at the photography and editing I found that I have difficulty with the composition of the magazine, for example placing the articles and mast head. This is definitely something to work on in the future to improve my magazine and make it look more genuine and stand out. This hopefully will become easier as next time I will be learning to use adobe in design. Following on from this something I feel I was effective at was time management. I was able to meet the deadlines and stay on top of my work throughout the assignment.
